Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ZaZang LLC ("ZaZang", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use the ZaZang website and applications (the "Platform").

1. Information we collect

We collect the details you provide when you create an account, build a profile, request quotes, and book talent, such as:

  • account details: name, email address, phone number, password (stored only in hashed form) and account role;
  • profile details: bio, photos, videos, audio, services, capabilities, equipment, rates, availability and location;
  • booking details: event information, location, requests, quotes, counter-offers, contracts, invoices and reviews;
  • messages you send through the Platform;
  • technical information: IP address, browser user agent, device and log information, collected when you use the Platform.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the platform: matching clients with talent, processing bookings and payments, generating contracts and invoices, and sending you relevant notifications. We also use it to keep the Platform secure, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, review booking problems and disputes, and meet legal obligations.

3. Records of what you agreed to

When you accept the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy or another ZaZang policy, we record which document and version you accepted, the date and time (in UTC), how you accepted it, and the IP address and browser user agent used. When you sign a booking contract we record the signature time and IP address. These records let ZaZang show who agreed to what, when, and for which booking.

4. Booking records

We keep a record of each booking as it moves through the Platform, including the quotes, agreed rates, contract, invoices, payments, refunds, status history and, where the Platform records them, snapshots of the booking details and the talent profile information at key steps. We use these records to provide both parties with an accurate record of the agreement and to review cancellations, problem reports and disputes.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Card details are handled directly by that provider and never touch our servers. Talent payout details are collected by Stripe on its own pages. We receive payment status and amounts from Stripe, and may receive limited card details such as the card brand and last four digits.

6. Sharing

We share information only as needed to provide the service. For example, we share event details between a client and the talent they book, and a talent’s public profile is visible to visitors. Direct contact between a client and a talent opens once the booking retainer is paid. We do not sell your personal information.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect the safety or rights of users or others, or with a successor if ZaZang’s business is transferred.

7. Service providers

We use service providers that process information on our behalf to run the Platform:

  • Stripe (payments and payouts);
  • Resend (email delivery);
  • Twilio (text message delivery);
  • Google (optional sign-in with Google);
  • Cloudflare (file storage and network services);
  • Railway (hosting);
  • Sentry (error monitoring);
  • Gaazzeebo (platform development and technical support for ZaZang LLC).

8. Notifications and marketing

We send account, booking and payment notifications by email, text message and in the app because they are needed to provide the service. You can manage optional notification categories in your settings.

Accepting this Privacy Policy does not enroll you in promotional marketing. If ZaZang offers promotional email or text messages, we will ask for your separate consent, and marketing consent is not required to create a basic account.

9. Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Some records, such as acceptance records, booking records, contracts, invoices and payment records, may be retained after an account is closed where required for legal, tax, financial or dispute purposes. 10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted staff access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your choices

You can review and update your profile, manage your notification preferences, and request deletion of your account. Some records may be retained where required for legal or financial reasons. To make a privacy request, use the Contact and Support page.

12. Age requirement

ZaZang accounts are only for people who are 18 or older. The Platform is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Each version shows its version number and effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, and you may be asked to review the new version.
